Lake Lanier Camping Sites

Lake Lanier is an ideal place for a camping holiday. There are some privately owned campgrounds, a few county-managed campgrounds, and eight campgrounds managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers. With the various campgrounds, there are thousands of sites to choose from, all with wonderful natural surroundings and various amenities to make the ideal vacation for you and your family. If you are just considering camping for the day, Van Pugh South on the southeastern end of the lake has 57 day camping sites with picnic tables and grills. Sites are limited to 8 people and 2 motorized vehicles. Visitors must vacate the park before closing at 10pm. Sites are $10 per day and are first come first serve.
