Big Creek Park

• Shoal Creek Park, currently just a boat ramp

• Chestnut Ridge Park, closed by the Corps in 2006 because of budget problems.

The Islands' plans for the parks are as follows:

• Shoal Creek Park: build a major camping area with a new amenity center, swimming pool and store. One plan forsees a bridge from the park to the Islands.
  
• Big Creek Park: expand the boat ramp for use when water levels are low and construct 14 new picnic sites.
  
• Chestnut Ridge Park: reopen the park and use it for RV and tent camping.
